I’m A Celebrity first as ITV launches podcast hosted by comedian and Gogglebox favourite

I’m A Celeb is launching its first ever podcast as the brand new spin-off series makes its return to TV screens on Monday (April 24).

The new show, I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, kicks off on ITV1 and ITVX next week, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly back at the helm.

And to coincide with the series, the I’m A Celebrity…South Africa – The Podcast is launching – and it will be fronted by two iconic previous campmates.

Launching next week is I’m A Celebrity…South Africa – The Podcast, the first ever official I’m A Celebrity podcast.

Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt and comedian and 2022 campmate Seann Walsh will be chatting about all the gossip – complete with exclusive interviews with our campmates every weeknight straight after each episode.

Viewers can listen on Global Player or other podcast apps as well as watch on the I’m A Celebrity YouTube channel.

Seann said “I had the most amazing experience doing I’m A Celebrity last year so I can’t wait to get back into the Jungle world with the first ever I’m A Celeb podcast! Scarlett and I will be discussing everything, no subjects are off limits and this time, I get to sleep in my own bed! I cannot wait!”

Scarlett said “I’m so excited to be hosting the first ever I’m A Celebrity Podcast with Seann – we both love a giggle and a natter so I can’t wait to get stuck in watching episodes of I’m A Celebrity…South Africa. It’s amazing to see some of our favourite campmates from over the years, including my Jungle family Carol and Jordan who are going back into camp….who will be crowned ‘I’m A Celebrity Legend’? I can’t wait!!”

For this year’s I’m A Celeb series, rather than a bunch of nervous celebrities taking part, the cast are all past contestants – and it seems they’ve got something to prove.

The full cast was announced earlier this year, with Helen, Carol, Shaun and Paul joined by: Amir Khan, Fatima Whitbread, Janice Dickinson, Jordan Banjo and Phil Tufnell.

In a monumental switch to proceedings, nobody will claim the title that has forever been intertwined with the show – either King or Queen of the jungle.

Instead, the winner of I’m a Celebrity South Africa, which starts airing on Monday night, will receive a completely new accolade.

On this special All Stars series, the winning celebrity will be named as the first-ever show ‘legend’.
