ITV viewers have “switched off” of Joel Dommett ‘s new TV show, In With A Shout.
The debut episode of the game show aired on Saturday night and saw two families go head to head, shouting the correct answers at small TV screens in order to win a big cash prize.
While some fans were anticipating Joel’ latest presenting gig after the success of The Masked Singer, they were left feeling disappointed and confused at the show’s format.

“#InWithAShout is way too complex for Saturday prime time tv. Let’s see what else is on…” they wrote.
A second put: “I thought I’d give it a go but I’m switching over already. Where on earth do these contestants come from? #inwithashout.”
“#InWithAShout Talk about fast-paced! This show is getting off to a quick start!” a third put.
Others were thoroughly enjoying the new addition to Saturday night TV as Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway comes to an end.
“This game is good!!! It’s exhausting watching it #InWithAShout @joeldommett,” one fan laughed.
“Good play along, but it’s slightly too much energy if anything, feels a bit visual overload. #inwithashout,” a second typed.
Before the show started Joel had said: “I am beyond excited to be hosting my first quiz show. It’s always been a dream for me and I can’t believe I’m finally here, plus it’s a show I love SO MUCH!”
“I’m ready to cheer, console, congratulate and sometimes laugh at our wonderful contestants,” he added.
ITV bosses were also looking forward to showing viewers the “exciting format” of the show and hoped that it would leave viewers unable to “resist playing along.”
“In With A Shout is an exciting format which will have audiences shouting at their screen,” they said. “You can’t resist playing along. Joel is the perfect host to bring sparkle and warmth whilst guiding the contestants to victory.”
