A Tipping Point contestant has been blasted by viewers after giving the “worst answer ever” on the ITV quiz show.
Kevin, a retired gas engineer, was taking on fellow players Ronnie and Lisa for a chance at landing the jackpot on the coin machine on Wednesday’s episode (September 6).
As he began his rapid fire Q&A with host Ben Shephard, he attempted to answer as many questions as he can and bag some coins to drop into the machine.

But one of the answers he offered up had viewers both stunned and in stitches, with many dubbing it the worst answer ever.
When asked to name an oval poultry based product – Kevin answered “chicken” – woth many feeling that the answer was clearly an egg.
Fans took to social media to comment on the blunder.
“An oval poultry based product, a chicken! WTF!” blasted one fan.
“Oval poultry based product, F***ING CHICKEN?!! #” said another accompanied by a gif of Buzz Lightyear saying “There seems to be no signs of intelligent life anywhere.”
A third chimed in: “Ah yes, that well-known oval food product – the chicken – jesus christ that might be the worst answer ive ever heard smh”.
Unfortunately his luck didn’t improve and he was the first contestant booted off.
Lisa and Ronnie battled it out for a spot in the final but Lisa was notorious and took on a chance to win the £10k prize counter.
Fans often calls out players for epic answer blunders.
