Jackass star Bam Margera had his adoring fans begging him to “stay strong” after his co-star Steve-O said he was “dying”.
Bam, who has battled with sobriety amid numerous rehab stints over the past few years, broke his silence yesterday (February 2) after Steve-O’s statement.
Posing for a snap alongside skateboarding legend Jim Thiebaud, Bam could be seen with one arm around his pal, tucked up in a black hoodie and hiding his eyes behind a pair of dark shades.

He simply captioned the snap with a flame emoji – but it was enough to have fans rushing to support him in the Instagram comments section.
One begged: “Praying for ya Bam! I idolised you when I was 6 watching you on MTV, ya showed us sobriety once, can’t wait to see it again!”
Another said: “Sending you positivity king. Please be safe.”
As someone else wrote: “We all love you Bam. Addiction is so hard, but you got this, I know you can get through it.”
“Stay strong Bam we believe in you, it might be hard but you can do it one step at a time,” a fourth fan penned.
It comes after Bam’s co-star Steve-O – who he has been touring with – issued a statement about Bam’s struggles, admitting he was “braced for news of [his] death”.
Bam took a swipe at Jackass founder Johnny Knoxville via social media, prompting Steve-O to speak out against the “vile” message.
Sharing a throwback snap of himself between Steve-O and Johnny, Bam fumed: “One arm is a best friend who had my f***ing back all along, the other arm is a poser. A pro-creation thief. If Jeff Tremaine was in this photo, he would be too greedy to fit.

“F*** Jeff. Remember I tattooed that on me long ago, Jeff? It’s because I knew who you were all along. [Steve-O], much love and respect.”
Steve-O wasn’t having any of it, however, as he hit back: “I wish you could know how much I’ve hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you’re making it clear that I have no other choice. You’re dying brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.”
Bam and Johnny initially fell out after he was booted off the Jackass Forever film due to concerns about his sobriety.
Now Steve-O has said he “tried everything he could” to help Bam in his recovery by bringing him along to open his tour, but realised he “can’t force him”.
