Jennifer Coolidge has said that she landed a large number of romps due to her American Pie role as Stifler’s Mom.
The actress told Variety back in 2022: “I got a lot of play at being a milf and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. There were so many benefits to doing that move. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
Variety posted a video of the interview on X, formerly known as Twitter, and fans were quick to comment on Coolidge’s interview. One said that now they “don’t feel so bad about their number” while someone else said it was “the quote of the century thus far”.

Another fan branded Jennifer an “absolute legend” while others praised her and called the actress “just the best,” “hilarious” and wished they were “one of the lucky 200”.

One post read: “Rock on! Glad you were able to get some fun times as a follow up to that role! I think myself and most of the people I know had plenty of dreams of getting to do that. Never got the chance, myself, but I applaud both you and those you slept with for doing it,” before hashtagging the phrase “no sex shaming”.
Jennifer starred in American Pie back in 1999, which was her big break. She played Stifler’s Mom and the film was a huge box-office hit which took a gross worldwide revenue of $235 million.
Stifler himself was played by Seann William Scott, who was 22 at the time. Jennifer later reprised the role of Jeanine for American Pie 2 in 2001 and again in 2003 for American Wedding.
Jennifer has gone on to have a hugely successful career and her iconic look and unique voice make her a widely recognisable figure in Hollywood. She has also starred in Legally Blonde, A Cinderella Story, Friends, Sex and the City and Robots.
Fans may also recognise Coolidge from her most recent role as the flamboyant Tanya McQuoid in the comedy drama series The White Lotus.
