After being released following an extended period behind bars, most convicts visit family and friends or head to their favourite restaurant for a bite of the food they had to do without, but one individual decided the first thing on his agenda was to contact Katie Price.
In a bid to tell his story to the masses, he contacted the glamour model in the hope that she could be the vessel to help get his message across.
Price opened up about the interesting idea during an episode of her podcast.

The 45-year-old said: “I got a letter through the post from a murderer.”
She continued: “He wrote me a letter, he’s just come out of prison, and he’s reached out to me because he wants to tell his story but wants to me to do it with him, like a TV show or something.
“I’m not joking. He [left his] number and everything. He’s in his 70s.”
The reality TV star, who’s already in correspondence with the police over a fly-tipping incident at her mansion, was told to be careful.
Price added: “I had the police here the other day and I said to them, ‘I got this letter off a murderer’.
“You know I love all of that stuff. They looked at me, and I said, ‘I know I look like I’m desensitised to it all because I’ve had all of my kidnap threats…’ They were like, ‘You should be concerned that he’s written to you’.”
But regardless of their concerns, the mum-of-five has already got the ball rolling on making the murderer’s pipe dream, a reality.
She said: “I’ve got Liz from Channel 4 to ring him to do a documentary. He just seems like he’s got a really interesting story.
“He was telling me in the letter about his childhood, and I always say it goes back to childhood, but Liz said she spoke to him, and I’ll find out today because Channel 4 are coming here.”
Price recently hit the headlines for allowing her 12-year-old daughter, Bunny, to create a YouTube page despite being under the required age of 13.
A viewer told The Sun: “I was really shocked when I saw Bunny’s YouTube channel as it’s clear she’s totally unsupervised – you can hear Katie and Carl talking in another room, but they’re not watching what she’s doing at all in the video.
“At one point, she uses the F-word. I reported it straight away – kids that young shouldn’t be online.”
