Katie Price’s son Junior Andre to follow in dad Peter’s footsteps with new music

Katie Price and Peter Andre’s son Junior is looking to follow in his father’s footsteps as he releases new music.

Junior, 18, announced in 2021 that he had signed with Columbia Records, who can boast the likes of Adele, Harry Styles and Calvin Harris as their clients.

Andre is no stranger to releasing music, with his debut single “Slide” topping the iTunes charts in the UK in 2021.

After a strong marketing campaign and a heap of promotion across his social media, the music video is sitting at just under 1million views.

But Junior is not looking to stop there as his rep told The Sun he is to release his follow-up track at the end of the month.

Andre himself has been teasing new music as recently as two weeks ago, even suggesting the title of the track.

“I’m dropping a new track this summer. Watch this space. #onlyone,” he penned in the caption.

Writing when he signed to the record label, Junior could not believe he could follow his musical dreams.

“Wow…where do I start. These past six months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it,” he beamed.

Andre revealed that dad Peter, who found fame as the voice behind legendary track Mysterious Girl, took him to the studio at the start of 2021.

“I have secretly been working on a MASSIVE project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!,” he wrote.

Junior also paid tribute to mum Katie Price, who he said was “always supportive” of him and his career aspirations.

He concluded his post by thanking all his family and friends for their love.

“I love everyone who supports me and I am very excited to go on this journey with you all. NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!!”

But Junior’s music career has taken off this year with a string of gigs throughout the summer.

In July, Andre performed at the Camp Bestival music festival and in April, he worked as a support act for HRVY at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

He also flexed his vocal chords at the Fantasia festival in Essex, where he joined his hunky dad Peter.
