Kim Kardashian 'launches beauty brand' for daughter North, 9, as she trademarks name

North West, 9, looks set to follow mum Kim Kardashian into the beauty business with a line of products under her own name.

Reality TV star and business mogul Kim, who shares four kids with rapper Kanye West – North, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 3 – filed trademarks in 2022 for all four of her children’s names.

However, Kim reportedly updated those for eldest child North earlier this month as the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) trademarks were filed under her name for beauty products.

These included: moisturisers, face oils, serums, bath gels, nail polish, hair gel, shampoo, and toys.

Elsewhere, North has amassed quite a following through the TikTok account she shares with her mom, where she frequently posts beauty tutorials.

Also, mum Kim has several businesses herself, including SKKN by Kim, perfume, beauty, homewares and her SKIMS clothing brand.

Her business-driven family members even have several businesses collectively, as Kylie Jenner has the beauty business nailed with her Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Baby, and Kylie Skin.

Meanwhile, Kourtney too has an established beauty and wellness brand with her website, Poosh.

On the fourth episode of the second season of The Kardashians, viewers watched Kim and her family pose for the cover of Variety, where they gave advice for women in business.

Khloé stressed the importance of passion and that sometimes things look much easier than they are.

While Kim uttered the words: “I have the best advice for women in business: Get your fu***ng ass up and work. Success is never easy. If you put in the work, you will see results.”

Kim was blasted by fans for advice she gave to businesswomen

The response generated a huge backlash online, with many people calling the Skims founder out.

Kim has since reacted to the backlash, saying: “When I made that statement, it wasn’t a blanket statement towards all women. As if I didn’t think women work hard.

“Or respect the work that they do, because I see it every day…. I hated that that got misunderstood. And for that, I’m so sorry.”
