Love Island girls ‘furious’ with bosses after being ‘forced’ in to Casa Amor

Love Island producers have been accused of sparking fury among their female contestants who were put into Casa Amor.

An insider has claimed that several Islanders signed up to enter the villa with the assumption they would enter the villa as bombshells but were subsequently told they would be thrown into Casa Amor instead.

This allegedly came after a number of contestants expressed their reluctance to join as Casa Amor islanders, who often don’t get as much airtime as the regular bombshells and can be dumped from the villa within days.

A source close to the show told Daily Star: “Many of the girls made it clear to the producers that they had no interest in being part of Casa Amor, as it is widely known that such contestants do not tend to last long on the show, and they are not taken as seriously.”

However, despite their reservations, when it came time for their arrival, the girls were blindsided by the producers’ decision and informed that they would, in fact, be heading into Casa Amor.

“The girls were furious,” the insider claimed.

“Some of them explicitly stated that they would only join the show as bombshells, given the perception surrounding Casa Amor contestants. It’s a matter of credibility and longevity on the show.

“But unfortunately, they were let down and informed that they would be entering Casa Amor instead.

“Naturally, they were very upset, but they felt they had no choice in the matter.”

While the specific names of the affected contestants were not disclosed, it was confirmed that “several” girls were causing a stir behind the scenes in response to this unexpected and sneaky manoeuvre by the producers.

Scott and Abi were dumped from the villa on Wednesday night (July 26) after their fellow Islanders were forced yet again to decide who got the boot.

It came after Scott decided to call time on his relationship with Abi earlier in the episode.

Daily Star has contacted ITV for comment.
