Phillip Schofield has shared his fears that he will be spat on in the street following his “unwise but not illegal affair” confession.
The former This Morning host, 61, made headlines yet again on Friday (June 2) after he sat down to tell his side of the story in two explosive interviews.
Phillip, who has since left ITV completely and was dropped by his talent agents at YMU, apologised for the affair with the young employee.

He told BBC’s Amol Rajan that his career was now over and admitted that he had “lost everything”.
And in an interview with The Sun, published Friday night (June 2) Phillip admitted he is too scared to leave the house and go out following fears he will be spat on.
Speaking to the publication he said: “I don’t have any spirit. My friends tell me, ‘It will get better’. It won’t. Not now. Not this one.
“You watch all these layers of you slide away and slide away and slide away. The things that were dear to you. But I deserve it. It’s my fault. I deserve it.”
He also admitted that he had never received abuse in the street before, but following the fallout from his affair confession, he now worries he will be targeted.
He asked: “Are they spitting on me because I had an affair at work and lied about it?”
Phillip’s interview with BBC was jam-packed with several bombshells within its 40 minutes, and when asked why he wanted to do the interview, Phillip said: “There is an innocent person here who didn’t do anything wrong. Who is vulnerable and probably feels like I do”.
Although he admitted that the affair was a “grave error”, he reiterated that the pair were “not boyfriends” and had engaged in romantic encounters just a half a dozen times – “nothing more than that.
He then said: “I have to talk about television in the past tense, which breaks my heart. I have lost everything.
What am I going to do with my days? I see nothing ahead of me but blackness, and sadness, and regret, and remorse, and guilt.
“I did something very wrong, and then I lied about it consistently.”
