Kourtney Kardashian has spoken about her “terrifying” health scare involving her unborn baby in a personal new interview.
The pregnant reality star, 44, is expecting her fourth child, and first with husband Travis Barker, 47. But in September, Blink-182 star Travis was forced to rush back to the US from tour after Kourtney was admitted to hospital.
Thankfully, everything was fine, but speaking in a new interview with Vanity Fair Italia, Kourtney has admitted it was “really frightening”. But she has refused to go into it too much just yet.

In a teaser for the interview, The Kardashians star said: “It was terrifying. I feel that sooner or later I will go into detail because I hope that it could help others, but I don’t feel ready yet because it was really frightening.”

The interview is accompanied by a beautiful maternity shoot, and the sultry cover has been released. In it, Kourtney appears near nude apart from a black bra and veil, cradling her baby bump.
Kourtney and Travis documented their journey to have a baby on The Kardashians, with the duo going through IVF and trying different remedies to conceive. However in the end, Kourt got pregnant without help.

Speaking about people criticising her pregnancy due to her age, Kourtney added in the interview: “Those comments don’t affect me. I just say: how could you question God’s plan? Because that’s how I see this pregnancy, which came when both Travis and I weren’t even thinking about it anymore and a year after we stopped IVF.”
Kourtney has spoke a little bit about the health scare she had last month. She shared a black and white photo of her and Travis holding hands.

In the lengthy caption, she said she was “forever grateful” for doctors “saving our baby’s life”. She went on: “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
Kourtney is already mum to Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight. Travis is dad to Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17.
