Jack Nicholson looked back to his old self as he made a very rare public appearance for the first time in over a year.
The Shining actor, 85, headed out to see a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors at the Crypto.com Arena in LA.
Jack looked dapper in a black blazer and matching button-up with white cuffs, opting for a dark pair of slacks to finish off his outfit.

The veteran actor slung a pair of binoculars around his neck in order to catch all of the action and could be seen chatting to his son Ray as he sat court-side.
Jack sported grey stubble and looked cheery as he concentrated on the game, at times gesturing with his hands as he reacted to the nail-biting playoff.
It’s his first public appearance in more than 18 months – and Jack was last seen out on the balcony of his apartment, with friends and neighbours worried he was becoming a “recluse”.
In April 2023, the actor was spotted at his home in Beverly Hills wearing a loose orange t-shirt and sweatpants, looking dishevelled as he clutched his head and watched a helicopter pass overhead.
He stepped out of his $10million luxury compound in his socked feet and could be seen with his silver hair standing on end.
Sources claimed a number of friends feared the actor would die alone – as his former next door neighbour Marlon Brando did.
One anonymous friend told Radar Online in January 2023: “He’s made it clear his home is his castle.
“But people just wish he’d come out of the house and pop up to tell them how — or at least reassure folks he’s OK.
“Jack’s in touch with certain relatives — especially [son] Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of — but his socialising days are long gone.”

Before he was spotted at the game this week, Jack’s last appearance out in public was at an LA Lakers game in October 2021.
He wore a mask and sunglasses as he kept a low profile beside his son.
