Shania Twain has 'career highlight' as ITV Starstruck contestants transform into her

Shania Twain beamed as she experienced a “career highlight” after Starstruck contestants transformed into her for the show.

The three contestants shared their love for the 90s Country-pop star who’s previously been dubbed the Queen of Country Pop.

They took to the stage in three of her iconic outfits, including the racy black bodysuit and white shirt combo from the Man! I Feel Like A Woman video.

Another took on her That Don’t Impress Me Much outfit, dressing up head to toe in a skin-tight leopard print jumpsuit and a long ginger wig with a fringe.

While the third contestant took to the stage in Shania’s I’m Gonna Getcha Good outfit as the group sang along to her hit track Man! I Feel Like A Woman.

After watching the group’s performance of her smash hit, Shania thanked them for their transformation, noting the moment as a “career highlight,” despite her years of success.

After the judges gave their feedback, the 57-year-old ran on stage to hug the contestants and sweetly told them “never give up the Shania look.”

Viewers absolutely loved watching the group perform as Shania and one suggested ITV bosses make it a regular occurence in the show.

“#Starstruck going forward- this show should have a guest judge where one of them is being impersonated!! I loved seeing Shania watching them perform as her!!!” they tweeted.

Another wrote: “Last series that had Team Olly Murs, this series Shania Twain. That just leaves Adam and Beverley to go.”

“Team Shania for the win going to call it now #Starstruck,” a third put.

Even though Shania clearly loved the performances as well as her fellow judges Jason Manford, Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert, the trio failed to win the audience’s vote and were booted out of the competition.

Instead, three Meat Loaf impersonators were sent through to the second round, where they were able to perform again.
