The Chase fans 'can't stop staring' as they swoon over player's 'outstanding' appearance

The Chase fans couldn’t help but swoon over a player’s “outstanding” appearance on Friday night (February 10), with many all in agreement.

Bradley Walsh was at the helm of the beloved ITV1 quiz show for its final weekday show of the week.

Welcoming four new contestants to the show, Bradley introduced Eliza from Colchester, Sarah from Hillingdon, Trevor from Ipswich, Zak from Loughborough.

Going up against Shaun Wallace, the four quizzing hopefuls were tasked with battling it out against the Dark Destroyer in order to bank some cash.

Zak distracted viewers when he appeared on The Chase

But viewers were quick to spot, and subsequently gush over, one of the player’s unique hairstyles.

Commenting on Zak’s hair, which was cut and styled into a retro-style mullet, fans were obsessed.

Flooding Twitter with compliments under the show’s hashtag, fans went wild as the show aired on ITV1.

“Yesss Zak bringing the mullet back with vengeance,” gushed one viewer.

Zak was the last to take on the chaser out of the four players

“Just cant stop staring at that outstanding mullet . Got balls to go on national TV has Zak,” added a second.

A third then penned: “There’s an outstanding mullet on The Chase!!”

While a fourth said: “What a mullet, Zak!”

And a fifth added: “Nice mullet, Zak,” while a sixth exclaimed: “The mullet is back!”

Zak, who works as a professional athlete, was last to take on the chaser.

He explained how he wanted to buy his mum some flowers and wine if he won some cash, as she was “jealous” that he had got on the show.

Bradley Walsh was at the helm once again

In his cash builder round, Zak sadly didn’t get a question right, but this didn’t stop Shaun from offering him a high offer of £82,000.

Fans of the show were stunned to realise that the man with the “outstanding” mullet was actually British Paralympic athlete Zak Skinner.

Born completely blind, Zak regained vision at the age of two. He has a genetic condition called ocular albinism.

Unfortunately, after taking the lowest offer of £0, Zak didn’t make it to the final round of the quiz.

The Chase airs weeknights at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
