British actor Rufus Sewell is engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Vivian Benitez.
The 56-year-old, known for playing the role of Jasper in the Christmas movie The Holiday, popped the question to American actress Vivian, who is 30 years his junior. This will be Rufus’ third marriage.

Captioning her heartwarming photos, she wrote: “Til death, (or him continuing to walk on bathmats with his outside shoes) do us part.” Seeing her wholesome display, fans headed straight to the comment section to congratulate them both.
One social media user wrote: “Oh my goodness!! The best couple. Congratulations you two, so much love to you both!”
Another penned: “I love you guys so much! So excited for this new chapter for you two.”

Rufus may likely have asked for Vivian’s hand in marriage during their romantic getaway in Rome, as Vivian recently shared a snap of herself in the city a day before she announced her wonderful news. The couple are known to keep their relationship relatively private and away from the limelight but they have made some red-carpet appearances over the years together.
Rufus’ first wife was with Australian fashion journalist 47-year-old Yasmin Abdallah. Yasmin met Rufus in Australia when she was 19, and the couple married when Yasmin was 23 in 1999. But in 2000, the couple called time on their relationship as they announced their divorce.
Yasmin previously spoke openly about her marriage to Rufus. The couple first met in a bar in Australia and after several months of dating, they both relocated to the UK and mixed with the Primrose Hill set.
The model previously said: “I don’t know if I was accepted to be honest… some weird, shaved-head Aussie-Lebanese girl who wasn’t quite part of the mix.
“I ended up making some wrong decisions, wrong business decisions, and I ended up losing the store, which was devastating for me. Rufus and I were no longer together, and that was quite traumatic. I was broke. It was a time of big loss.”
Rufus later married his second wife, scriptwriter and producer Amy Gardner, in 2004. However, the pair divorced two years later in 2006.
