Fans of The Masked Singer were not happy when they saw ghost appear on the new series of the show.
The Masked Singer is known for its extravagant outfits for the various celebs taking part in the show – but unfortunately one outfit didn’t quite get the same attention.

As the show aired on New Year’s Day all of the celebrities took to the stage to give their performance and try to stay in the competition.
With the incredible costumes and voiceovers to cover-up their identity, the celebrities are able to stay hidden while the judges take a guess at who they are – but ghost’s costume was… different.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their thoughts as they claimed the ITV show had blown their budget on the rest of the outfits and needed a low-value costume.
With just a white sheet, black eyes stitched onto the front and a pair of red boots, the outfit was certainly simple.
One user wrote: “Obviously run out of budget when it got to ghosts costume.”
While another said: “Did ITV run out of budget for the ghost costume? It’s literally a sheet.”
A third chirped: “Whoever ghost is spent their costume budget on stuff other than the costume,” while another followed up with: “That ghost costume is a sign of a low budget…”
Ghost gave an incredible performance of Save The Last Dance For Me and – despite such a simple costume – fans are still yet to know exactly who is under the mask.
But it hasn’t stopped them sharing their theories…
One major hitter – which Jonathan Ross also speculated over – is that ghost is Love Island voiceover star Iain Stirling.
As people shared their theories, one user wrote: “”Ghost is 100% Iain Stirling.”
While another said: “Ghost is Iain Stirling or Iain Stirling is their red herring. Open and shut.”
Both Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora had noted Iain Stirling as one of the potential celebs underneath the mask – and fans nearly got the chance to figure out who it was.
Ghost was one of the characters placed in the bottom, but viewers will need to wait to see who is unmasked.
The Masked Singer continues on ITV at 6:30pm on Saturdays.
