This Morning fans have called for the daytime show to be pulled off air following Phillip Schofield’s explosive affair scandal.
The ITV show returned on Wednesday morning (May 31) with stand-in presenters Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond at the helm.
It comes after former host Phillip sensationally admitted to having an affair with a younger male ITV employee and lying to his wife, friends and colleagues about it.

Phillip has left ITV altogether and has since been embroiled in a bitter Twitter spat with his former This Morning co-star Eamonn Holmes, who has branded Phillip a “chief narcissist” and claimed there was a cover-up over his affair.
And fans rushed to complain about This Morning just minutes after it began on Thursday, because they weren’t too happy with a rather quirky segment about eco-friendly toilet rolls.
It saw Dermot and Alison speak to a man who has ditched toilet paper altogether in favour of leaves, which is not exactly the usual way to wipe your bottom.
Some viewers thought the show had reached a “new low” discussing such topics after the Phil drama, and some even called for it to be scrapped completely.
One fan wrote: “#thismorning reaches a new LOW having Hammond and O’Leary talking sh**”
Another said: “That’s how low This Morning has gone they’re not getting the guests in.”
A third commented: “this morning reduced to “i’ve ditched toilet paper for leaves” ffs take it off air.””
Another said: “The toilet flush at the end pretty much sums it up.”
It comes after fans claimed that there was a tense atmosphere during Tuesday’s show, which was also hosted by Alison and Dermot.
The pair headed straight into the main show without going over the latest headlines, with fans later claiming that the “vibes” were off.
