Derren Brown’s new theatre show titled UNBELIEVABLE has wowed fans who attended the Gala Night.
On September 27, the show welcomed its first lot of guests to sample the London show at the Criterion Theatre.
There were even some big stars in attendance on the night including Doctor Who star David Tennant.

After watching the illusionist’s show, some fans took to social media to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: “I was unsure why Derren Brown’s new show Unbelievable doesn’t star him. Much of it he could do but there are a few big tricks he definitely couldn’t. As always, I have half an idea about some tricks and no clue about the rest. Soz for the cringe but the last one was truly unbelievable.”
A second added: “Derren Brown’s Unbelievable is an extraordinary show, cannot recommend it enough. The most mind-blowing stage magic I have ever seen.”
Unbelievable will be showcasing at the Criterion Theatre from 19 September to 7 April 2024.
Talking about his new project, Derren said: “Derren said: “We have reimagined what a night of illusion could be. We have taken the love and experience we’ve put into my own stage work over twenty years and created, from the ground up, a proper, original, theatrical experience. I think we have liberated the magic show. It’s going to be a glorious thing.”
However, fans may want to know that Derren himself is not actually in the production and just crafted his work from behind the scenes.
Derren collaborated with Andy Nyman and Andrew O’Connor on the piece and promised an “evening of bewildering trickery.”
The master mentalist has fused together the best of theatre with illusion, sleight of hand, and mind reading, for viewers’ entertainment.
Guests will also expect to see a live band, who are very integral to the show, and end up showcasing their other talents throughout the stage production.
But to carry on with Derren’s traditional ways, he is also keen to get the audience involved throughout, so watch out as you may find yourself up on stage and part of the magic.
