Vanessa Feltz says she’s ‘done with toyboys’ after heartbreaking split from cheating ex

TV veteran Vanessa Feltz has revealed that she’s given up on dating younger men after her heart-wrenching split from her ex Ben Ofoedu.

Earlier this year, the 61-year-old star called her engagement off after her ex revealed that he cheated on her by sexting another woman.

Vanessa had been in a relationship with Ben, 51, for 17 years before they decided to part ways in February.

But now the This Morning star has vowed to not date any more toyboys going forward to hopefully eradicate further heartbreak in the future.

Talking to The Mirror about her upcoming stint on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, she said: “I’ve just spent 17 years with a man 10 years younger, so I’m considering not dating a younger man now.

“Someone I can trust would be good and someone who meant what they said. I think it would be lovely to have somebody you could actually trust.”

Vanessa also explained that she’s found it difficult to be completely alone since her break up.

She added: “I haven’t wanted to come in and be alone right from the evening to the next morning, but I might start petering out as it’s been six months and that’s a long time to go out every night.”

Earlier this year, Ben also admitted to having sex with an older woman while performing in Ibiza in 2015 as Vannesa remained at home.

In February, he said: “I met her on the gig scene. She was the same age as Vanessa, possibly older. She took a shine to me, said lots of nice things.”

He then confessed they had sex three times “over a short period of time”.

Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli, OnlyFans star and model Lottie Moss, comedian Spuddz and Love Islanders Chloe Burrows and Adam Collard will be appearing on this year’s series as they hope to be matched to “the one”.

The start date for the new series has not yet been announced but judging from last year, it could air in November 2023.
