Alison Hammond has left fans curious as to whether she’s called it quits with her toyboy beau David Putnam.
This year, 49-year-old Alison joyfully admitted to discovering love once again with model and body therapist David, who is 20 years her junior. And things seemed to be going from strength to strength for Alison and David.
However, recent occurrences point towards an increased distance between the two. Last month, he celebrated his birthday solo in Lake Como, Italy, with Alison nowhere to be seen.

Further fuelling speculations, he even rented a speedboat for a James Bond-style escapade. Fans bombarded Alison with queries during a social media Q&A session, to which she responded coyly.
When questioned about her happiness, she retorted subtly, “Happiness comes from within.”, reports the Mirror. Daily Star has contacted Alison’s representatives for comment.
As per insiders, though initially content with David, his parents voiced concerns over the age discrepancy and her spotlight-stealing professional life. A pal close to David’s mum Olga relayed: “She thinks Alison is way too old for David and doesn’t like all the attention her TV fame has brought to her son.

“She’s uncomfortable that her son is with someone who has so much more financial power than him. Olga’s traditional values don’t sit well with their relationship. She’s told him in no uncertain terms that he must end it.”
Heat magazine received inside information: “Alison was absolutely devastated when she heard what Olga said – she thought it was totally unnecessary and didn’t expect it at all. She has really fallen for the guy, and everyone is worried.”
They noted: “It’s not just the age difference no one knows him, and people are concerned, especially now his mum has weighed in. This was why Alison was trying to keep it so quiet. She knew what the reaction would be.”

Rumours have been swirling after pals of the model stated that Olga had hopes her son would meet a “nice Russian girl.” However, their relationship did receive the stamp of approval from Alison’s 19 year old son Aiden. Regardless, Alison confesses that she struggles to navigate dating while mothering a teenage son.
On Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell podcast, Alison revealed that Aiden, now a teenager, is keen to be introduced to any potential suitors his mum’s dating.
She expressed: “It’s more difficult, he is more verbal now that he is older. He’ll want to know who this person is and he’ll want to meet them. It’s a lot harder. He’ll wanna know that this guy is treating me well. The person who I am seeing at the moment, he is on his Instagram and is like ‘Yeah I like him, he’s not too in your face’. Aidan is on it.”
