Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong is reportedly after full custody of their pet Labrador as the TV star gets to grips to fatherhood with his new wife Anne-Marie.
Make-up artist Lisa and Saturday Night Takeaway star Ant got chocolate brown pooch Hurley when they were together. But when they split in 2018 after 11 years of marriage, it seems they decided to share him.
Hurley’s time is now split between living with Lisa and living with Ant and Anne-Marie, who welcomed their baby boy Wilder earlier this month. However, The Sun reports that after Lisa is now keen to have Hurley – who has been her “lifeline” – with her full-time.

“She really had to fight Ant for him, which she still is annoyed about as he got other dogs with Anne-Marie and now she would just like Hurley to live with her full-time,” the insider claimed. “Ant obviously loves Hurley as well but he now has a lot of other responsibilities and things going on in his life and Lisa can’t see why she can’t have full custody of him.”

The source said that Hurley has been a comfort to Lisa amid her break-up with the TV star, who wed former assistant Anne-Marie in 2021. “He’s more than just a dog to her and has been a lifeline at times,” they added.
Lisa regularly shares snaps of Hurley on social media, where she uses the hashtag “#MamasBabyBoy” in posts about her four-legged friend. Last year she even had a Christmas card made with his face on it.

Ant and Anne-Marie welcomed Wilder on May 14, and their baby announcement included a sweet snap of Ant holding their new arrival. He had his shirt off in the snap, revealing an intricate family tree tattoo on his shoulder.
The tree had name panels entwined in the branches, emblazoned with the names of loved ones. One said “Amzie”, which fans took to be a nickname for Ant’s wife, and the names “Daisy” and “Poppy” – Anne-Marie’s daughters from a former relationship – could also be seen.

There were also panels for Bumble and Milo, the dogs he shares with Anne-Marie. Daily Star has reached out to representatives for Ant and for Lisa for comment.
