‘Barbaric’ Netflix show disgusts fans with ‘sickest and most disturbing scenes’

Netflix streamers can’t stop talking about one “messed up” series.

Over in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook, one eager streamer asked for “honest reviews” on the show Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Many comments flooded in with huge praise for Evan Peters, who plays Dahmer in the Netflix series.

“Shocking, disgusting, barbaric….BRILLIANT,” wrote one person as another quipped: “It’s great. Disturbing, brilliant, excellent.” Someone else gushed that Evan was “amazing” in the horrific role, while another scarred viewer added: “It was the most gut-wrenching, terrifying, disgusting, tragic, and disturbing show I have ever seen. So good. 12/10.”

“It was disturbingly amazing! My heart was pounding the entire time,” admitted one fan of the show, as a second person branded the series “pretty messed up” but a “good watch”.

“Brilliantly executed performance by Evan Peters as always. I can’t imagine how dark of a place he had to go to bring out such a monster on screen the way he did. It was disturbing for sure, but excellent,” praised one fan of the lead actor.

More people branded the show “gut-wrenching,” “scary,” “out of this world” and “sick” while one final member typed: “Comments are spot on. This one was all of that and then some.”

Niecy Nash played concerned neighbour Glenda Cleveland

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story was released back in 2022 and stars the American Horror Story actor as the American serial killer, alongside Niecy Nash, Javier Bardem, Cooper Koch, Nicholas Chavez, Richard Jenkins, Chloê Sevigny, Molly Ringwald and Rodney Burford.

The show runs for two seasons and Netflix’s description reads: “Across more than a decade, 17 teen boys and young men were murdered by convicted killer Jeffrey Dahmer. How did he evade arrest for so long?”
