In other Gogglebox news, stars Dave Griffiths jetted abroad without wife Shirley. The pair became sofa superstars back in 2015 when they joined the show. But Dave set tongues wagging when he posted an Instagram video from Birmingham airport announcing his Dubai departure

Shirley was missing in the clip, fans reckoned she’d be hot on his heels. However, as Dave’s solo adventure snaps kept coming, including one with their son Simon, it was clear Shirley wasn’t part of their travel plans.
