Channel 4 is set to shock viewers with a racy new show where contestants could lose their virginity on a remote island.
The programme, rumoured to be called Virgin Island, will see men and women paired together for an unforgettable experience. Guidance will be provided by sex experts for those taking the plunge for the first time.
A TV insider revealed: “There’s never been a TV show that pushes the boundaries quite like this – and probably never will be again. The aim is to hopefully have all the virgins find each other attractive, but if that fails then this is the plan B. These people are professionals who are constantly on hand for anything that may be required.”

The show will also feature “sex surrogates” to assist those who are nervous about this significant moment in their lives. According to The Sun, the show will begin with sessions discussing intimacy before moving onto more intimate practices.
Experts will be on hand to help participants overcome any psychological or physical issues as they get closer to each other. Filming is due to begin later this year at a hush-hush location for a unique telly experiment.
A source spilt the beans, saying: “This is a bold social experiment as opposed to anything raunchy, so contributors shouldn’t feel afraid of coming forward.”
It joins the long list of out-there shows dealing with sex. Channel 4 previously aired the show Sex Box, which saw couples get it on in a box on TV and then speak about their experience afterwards.
And this week, US show Couple To Throuple launched. The show, which airs on Hayu in the UK, sees couples searching for the perfect third person to join their relationship on the tropical island of Bermuda.
