Dan Wootton has been slammed by Oasis fans after he sneered at Liam Gallagher on social media.
Liam, 51, broke his silence for the first time since tickets to see Oasis reunite next year went on sale last weekend. Whilst fans were thrilled to see the stars get back together for a series of gigs next summer, others were stunned at the cost of the tickets to attend.
Tickets to see the band reunite for the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe’s release were initially advertised as being £150. However, due to huge demand, millions were unable to get tickets – and those who did manage to get through to the ticket selection page found tickets had instead shot up to £355.

Fans were livid at the sudden last-minute changing of ticket prices, and demanded answers from Noel and Liam on why they opted to fleece fans. However, the brothers fell silent for days following the debacle, leaving loving fans with a bitter taste in their mouth.
On Friday (September 6), Liam broke his silence with his first post on X since the scandal broke out. In the post, he penned: “OASIS are back, your welcome and I hear there ATTITUDE STINKS, good to know something’s never change.”
Some fans were quick to make sly digs at the brothers for their silence on the ticket fiasco, to which Liam told them to “shut up”. However, one TV presenter wanted to take Liam down a peg or two.
GB News presenter Dan Wootton was seen responding to Liam’s post with a single word. Correcting Liam’s grammar in the original post, he simply wrote the word: “You’re”.
A number of other commenters were quick to point out other grammar issues in the post, such as the wrong use of the word “there”, as well as a general lack on punctuation. However, many of Liam’s loyal fans were quick to leap to the singer’s defence and call out Dan for even trying to maintain the moral high ground.
One account penned: “Are you still here?” A second user was less kind, launching a scathing tirade against the host, saying: “Ex tabloid, celebrity bin dipper, trying to dig people out.”
Other fans were less polite with their language, branding Dan a “c**t”, a “bas***d” and a “t**t”. Tickets for Oasis’ set of gigs have now completely sold out, with the announcement being made just hours after they went on sale.
The band will play five cities across the UK and Ireland – including a long stint at London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Heaton Park. They recently added two more Wembley dates to the tour following the huge demand.
