Netflix fans are “disgusted” by scenes from one skin-crawling series.
Someone in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook said that Parasyte: The Grey “was worth watching” and added a flame emoji as other Netflix streamers shared their thoughts. One person branded it a “brilliant show” while someone else called it “amazing”.
“Sick as, creepy as and plain weird but good lol,” chimed in another viewer, while a second added: “It’s exciting…I loved it,” and a third called the series “disgusting”.

Another comment read: “This one is the best,” while someone else typed: “Parasyte is a great Korean show…I finished the entire season in a day [laughing face].” Someone else added: “Yes. I watched it, it was good. The ending was a bit sad.”
Some suggested that fans of the Netflix show “try the anime” and “give the series a go,” while others gushed that they “loved” the live action series. “My favourite,” typed one person, “It is really good. Recommend watching,” added a second while a third said: “Superb series.”
The Netflix description of the series reads: “When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat.” The horror show stars Maskai Suda, Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kim In-kwon, Kwon Hae-hyo, Yoon Hyun-gil and Lee Hyun-kyun.
Parasyte: The Grey was released in 2024 and is a live-action spin-off of the manga series Parasyte by Japanese artist Hitoshi Iwaaki. It follows a group of bizarre parasitic creatures from space that take over host bodies and shapeshift their heads.
To combat the strange creatures a police squad called The Grey is formed to protect humanity, all while trying to keep news of the parasites off the news and the internet. The series, which was released in April 2024, received great reviews and Rotten Tomatoes has rated it a 7.5/10.
Parasyte: The Grey was at the top of Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) category for three days after it was released on the streaming service. 6.3 million viewers racked up a whopping 31.5 million hours of streaming within its first week.
