EastEnders fans reckon Nish Panesar won’t actually die as a beloved character could be his donor.
The bad guy, played by Navin Chowdhry, made his return to Walford this week – and he had some big news to share with his estranged family. Gathering the Panesar clan, he shared that he was dying.
As expected, ex-wife Suki didn’t care, nor did his children Vinny and Ravi – they even accused Nish of lying about it. But after Ravi shoved his dad, Nish collapsed and was rushed to hospital.

The Panesar family all arrived at hospital where it was confirmed by a nurse that he he needed a new heart. And despite thinking he had years left to live, Nish was told it was now much shorter than that.
The nurse also informed him he might not survive long enough to get a transplant on the waiting list. She told him: ““I do have to warn you though, given the state of your health, the chances of finding a donor organ in time are slim.”
Nish was gutted thinking he had years left. Meanwhile Suki cracked a sly smirk hearing the news about her abusive ex-husband.
Now, fans are certain Nish will be saved by an unlikely character as they have ‘worked out’ who could be his heart donor. On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans claim it could be his son Vinny – which would mean the character would sadly be killed off. One person said: “I think Vinny will die and Nish will get his heart.”
Someone else chimed in on the social media platform and added: “Nish needs a heart transplant. Well, nice knowing you, Vinny.” A third wrote: “A lot of comments suggesting Vinny could get killed off meaning Nish could have his heart.
“Suki has already lost one child – to lose another would be devastating.” Another fan chimed in and said: “They won’t just kill a great bad guy off like that so i think someone will die on the square and he will get that heart.”
