Emmerdale fans have “figured out” the identity of Kim Tate’s next romantic partner – and it’s a character making a surprising comeback.
Kim (played by Claire King) first graced the Dales in 1989, swiftly becoming one of the programme’s most memorable figures. Actress Claire decided to depart in 1999 to pursue different ventures.
Yet, two decades later, she made a triumphant return to the ITV drama. Over her tenure on the show, her character has been embroiled in some of its most significant plots.
From steamy romances to even staging her own demise, her stint in the Dales has been anything but dull. Particularly now, as Kim’s recent months in the village have been fraught with upheaval.
She and her spouse Will Taylor (portrayed by Dean Andrews) called it quits after Kim confessed to blackmailing Will following his tryst with his former lover Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) earlier this year. Kim has since requested a divorce from Will – but he is intent on ruining Kim, reports Leeds Live.
Engaging in battle with his ex-wife, Will is resolved to claim half of Kim’s wealth – despite their prenuptial agreement. Naturally, Kim has declared war to protect her assets.
She also seemed to have a fling with her financial advisor Peter – much to the irritation of Will who ended up being punched by Peter. However, fans are now convinced that one of Kim’s past lovers could be returning to reignite their relationship with Kim.
Graham Foster fans are losing their marbles, as they whirl online theories about the character’s possible sensational comeback. Played by Andrew Scarborough, Graham became an instant favourite when he stepped into the Dales back in 2017.
Tears flowed amongst viewers when he was bumped off in a dramatic ‘whodunnit’ in Emmerdale in 2020.
Yet, Graham’s untimely demise hasn’t silenced passionate fans from pondering if he’ll pop up again to mend Kim’s broken heart. A hopeful fan speculated on an Emmerdale Facebook group: “So who do you think could be Kim’s next man? “.
Another eager beaver responded with a simple: “Graham! ” In agreement, one more rang in: “I’d love Graham to come back.”
Matching their sentiment, someone else asserted: “There’s always hope that he didn’t die.”
Another believer stated firmly: “You never know they did it with Bobby in Dallas,” while another insisted: “Graham will rise from the dead.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
