“I’ve got a good idea of what viewers love.” Iain is convinced the shock returns will be TV gold and go down a storm with viewers.
He added: “Deciding whether to bring someone back always depends on a few things. It’s about the character and what they’re doing.
“We would never bring somebody back in just because viewers like them. There has to be something concrete for them to be doing.”
The comebacks are happening as part of a revamp at the show. Producers are keen to keep fans hooked to keep ratings high.
Iain said: “We are rebalancing the character balance a bit. There will be some new faces too. It’s exciting to look at the show and recalibrate things to make it as good as possible.”
