Warwick Davis has offered up his apologies after causing great concern online.
Many of his adoring fans were left in a fit of worry last night after the Harry Potter star penned a messaged that left everyone concerned. Online users had been on high alert for Warwick after he confirmed recently that his wife Samantha had sadly passed away last month.
The 54-year-old said last week that his beloved wife and mother of his two children had died on March, 24, 2024. The grieving TV star caused alarm bells to ring when he issued a late-night post on X, formerly known as Twitter on Sunday.

He penned to his 662,000 followers: “I’m done here, Signing off,” he also left a broken heart emoji showcasing his recent suffering. Masses of his loyal legion were fearing the worst after the death of his childhood sweetheart.
Fortunately, the actors son, Harrison and daughter, Annabelle were on standby to remedy the situation and put fans minds at ease. The couple’s two children were responsible for issuing an update via their father’s account, hours later.
They wrote: “Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media. He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison x”.
In a statement last week, the family announced Samantha’s sad death. Warwick said: “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs.”
He added: “She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.”
The pair fell in love in their teens after meeting on the set of George Lucas’ film, Willow. Warwick was just 17 at the time of meeting Samantha, who was 16.
In 1991, the loved-up couple said ‘I do’ after dating for three years. After tying the knot, the pair faced a number of tragedies together after losing two children.
Sadly for Warwick and Samantha they always knew that if both their rare genetic forms of dwarfism were to be passed on to their offspring that it would be fatal. Tragically, this was the case for their first two children, Lloyd and George.
Lloyd did however surpass all expectation and did live for nine days after birth. This despite being born with Warwick’s Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), an extremely rare genetic form of dwarfism and Samantha’s achondroplasia – a bone growth disorder that causes disproportionate dwarfism.
George however was stillborn at 19 weeks old. In spite of the heartache they suffered, they did go on to have the family they’d always wanted when their two children Annabelle and Harrison were born.
