Holly Willoughby has reportedly been left feeling “very betrayed” after her staggering Netflix salary was leaked.
Its claimed the 43-year old is set to pocket a cool £1 million to present a new survival reality series on the streaming giant, alongside Bear Grylls. Now she feels particularly dismayed about her wage details being made public as she does “not want to burn her bridges so early.”
Netflix is also said to be “really upset” by the leak, due to its strict rules on confidentiality. The working title for the series is currently Bear Hunt, and represents a huge opportunity for Holly, who quit her role on This Morning in October.

The show will see Holly spend a significant amount of time in Central America – reportedly leaving her “torn” at the prospect of being apart from her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children.
A source told Heat of the leak: “Just as Holly thought everything was getting back on track, she feels very betrayed again over the stories about Netflix being upset over her wages being made public. This is such a big deal for her and she wants to do more work for them, so the last thing she would want to do is burn her bridges so early.
“It’s embarrassing and upsetting that a story like this has come out when she wants to be trusted and seen as a big asset to Netflix. She’s not one to discuss money and is always professional.”
Another insider told The Mirror of Netflix’s frustration: “Netflix is really strict about leaks and anything ahead of schedule. They had a meeting and brought up Holly’s new series, and said they were really upset about how it was leaked and there were so many varying reports about how much she had been paid to do the show. It just isn’t its style.
“Netflix recruits credible talent – and to have potential earnings in the public domain wasn’t what it had expected.”
Holly will be heading to Costa Rica to film the first leg of the new production later this month. Throughout the duration of her time on the show, she will be protected by ex-special forces and former military guns. In total, bosses will spend an enormous £10 million to ensure that none of the celebrities are harmed while filming the show.
Last week, meanwhile, Holly celebrated her big move with a farewell dinner in West London with her closest celeb pals including Christine Lampard and Nicole Appleton.
