Love Island beauty Tanyel Raven has revealed that she only agreed to enter the villa on one condition.
The hair salon owner took part in he ninth series of the ITV2 dating show last year but didn’t end up finding the one during her stint in the South Africa despite being surrounded by hunky men.
She entered the famous vila on the day one and lasted 24 days before getting the boot and the 2023 winter series was won by Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.

Speaking to Daily Star about her time in the villa at the National Reality TV Awards last year, Tanyel said that she told show bosses that she would only join the cast if she was part of the main line-up for the series. She explained: “I actually said to them when they reached out to me ‘I’m not doing it unless I’m an OG’. Don’t even mess me around, if i’m not on OG then thats it.
“I think they liked me more because I was so honest. When they said I was last to go in I was like ‘Yes’.” If anything Love Island taught me what I don’t want in a man, not negatively. just because all those guys were so not for me and I realised I wanted an older man.
In November last year, 10 months after her Love Island appearance, Tanyel announced she was engaged to her boyfriend Ediz. Posting a video of the moment he proposed during a trip to Turkey, she told her followers: “I said yes to marrying my best friend and soul mate. It was always you”
Tanyel’s Love Island co-stars were quick to comment on the post. Ron Hall, who came second place with now ex Lana Jenkins, wrote: “Could not be happier for you both, you deserve all the happiness in the world! Congratulations!! Bring on the celebrations.” Love Island: All Stars has kicked off and Tanyel’s co-star Olivia Hawkins is set to return as a bombshell.

A show source told The Sun said: “Liv has had a series of meetings with Love Island bosses and they’re really keen to get her in the All Stars villa. She was the most memorable and talked-about contestant on Winter Love Island earlier this year, so they know she won’t be afraid to ruffle feathers and cause drama.
