Inside Celebrity MasterChef star Charlotte Crosby’s life as a new mum, wedding plans and reality show past

Charlotte Crosby will be one of the first five celebrities donning MasterChef aprons this week alongside TV and radio presenter Craig Doyle, TV and radio presenter Edith Bowman, popstar, Ian ‘H’ Watkins and TV and radio presenter Snoochie Shy.

But, who is the reality star and how has her life changed beyond her Geordie Shore notoriety?

Charlotte’s reality show past

34-year-old Charlotte is best known for appearing in the MTV reality series Geordie Shore, winning the twelfth series of Celebrity Big Brother, and has featured in a host of other popular reality shows.

She left Geordie Shore in 2016, and was well-known for her tumultuous, on again off again relationship with Gaz Beadle across 12 seasons of the show.

The Sunderland local was a fan favourite on Aussie-based reality show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2020. Fear-based shows were nothing new for the star as in 2017, she began presenting Just Tattoo of Us, a terrifying reality show where pairs choose tattoos for one another and have to get them done without seeing them.

She is now set to appear in the Geordie Shore spin off set in Australia, Aussie Shore and she was recently on screen Down Under in the 2023 series of The Masked Singer Australia. She was commended for her beautiful singing voice on the show, where she was the character Space Fairy.

Who is Charlotte’s partner?

Despite her long term romance with co-star Gaz on Geordie Shore, she has been with businessman Jake Ankers for the past two years and the pair have a variety of shared business interests as well as being parents to their beautiful tot Alba Jean, who is 18 months old.

The couple got engaged in November 2023, and Jake has travelled to Australia with Charlotte while she films. Charlotte has been pretty public with her life as a mother, sharing regular updates on social media of her daughter’s lavish, pumpkin themed first birthday party, and emotional messages about the experience of seeing her little girl grow up.

Having previously had an ectopic pregnancy, Charlotte was not sure she would be able to have kids, and appears to be thrilled to be a mum.

With a wedding to plan, new motherhood on her plate and a host of filming commitments, Charlotte keeps very busy with her own clothing line Pepper Girls Club which she launched in 2019.
