The Girls Aloud Tour has been anything but easy and there have been many tears shed along the way.
It was always anticipated that the Girls Aloud Show would be hard-hitting emotionally for the entire group with it being the first time that foursome have joined forces on stage since 2013.
The tour also marks the first reunion for the band without their beloved bandmate Sarah Harding, who tragically died after being being diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.

Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh kicked off the hotly-anticipated show last weekend when they opened their first show at the Dublin 3ARENA.
The quartets will be working their way across the UK, with their next stop of the tour being Manchester. While it’s early days yet, with many more locations still to visit, the production hasn’t been without it’s flaws so far.
Wardrobe Malfunction
There was one unplanned wardrobe mishap that took place on the tour and footage of the blunder has been doing the rounds on social media ever since.
Unfortunately for Cheryl, she seemed to be the only one spotted on stage who was sporting a limp skirt while her bandmates dresses larger the life frocks billowed and inflated as planned.
The hilarious clip was shared on TikTok by drag artist Miss Roots, who is the host of the That’s Gossip! podcast, she captioned: “Justice for Cheryl’s inflatable skirt.” The clip featured a hilarious and very fitting audio from 2006 E4 docuseries Girls Aloud: Off The Record.
Cheryl can be heard saying: “No, all I’m saying is – everybody else is dressed to the nines and I look like a tramp!” To which Lauren (her stylist at the time) responded: “You don’t look like a tramp, babe.”
The former X Factor judge saw the funny side and even re-shared Miss Roots TikTok on her Instagram story. Cheryl add the caption: “The internet remains undefeated,” along with a laughing emoji.
Forgotten Lyrics
It wasn’t just Cheryl who faced issues, Nicola Roberts confessing over on TikTok that she was having problems remembering lyrics, in a spoof type snippet.
The hilarious video showed Nicola being coy with her phone during a rehearsal with bandmates Nadine, Kimberley and Cheryl. She penned: ‘POV: When you haven’t sang a song in a decade and your tour starts on Friday.”
In the funny clip, Nicola had told the other three, she’d been “texting her sister” but actually unbeknown to her bandmates, she’d been looking up the words to Love Machine, with the camera honing in on the lyrics.
Cheryl In Tears
It all became too much for fan-favourite Cheryl who was overcome with emotion as the foursome took to the stage to sing I’ll Stand By You, which was a special tribute to their fifth member Sarah Harding.
At the end of the performance, the late singer appeared on the screen singing her iconic lyrics “Here I am, walking Primrose, wondering when I’m guna see you again.”
The song was slowed down, adding further emotion as gold confetti fell from ceiling as the other four band-members remained completely silent and still while holding hands.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as Sarah’s mesmorising voice echoed through the arena once more. Cheryl had tried hard to hold it together but in the end tears were evidently streaming down her face.
Nadine reached for Cheryl’s hand as Nicola brushed her brunette locks away from her face, with the former X Factor judge mouthing to them: “I’m ok”.
Nicola told the audience: “When we recorded this next song 19 years ago, we had no idea 19 years later it would become so poignant on our journey.” Black and white footage of Sarah followed with with the words: “The darkest nights produce the brightest stars.”
