Wonder brawler Liam Gallagher is gearing up for another battle with his neighbours over plans to install a pool at his £4million mansion.
The ex-Oasis singer, 51, has angered locals in posh Highgate, North London, over the plans, which include a high-security wall and gates.
Residents group the Highgate Society said the rocker’s plans would “create a most unfortunate precedent” and that it may mean they could be “seriously affected by any groundwater diversion”.

It’s not the first time he’s caused a row with his neighbours as he bought the mock Tudor mansion back in 2020 after falling out with the neighbours at his previous home just a year after moving in.
He’d moved into his old pad in July 2018 and immediately made a bad impression when he yelled his neighbours were “prats” and then caused more anger over boozy rows in his local pub.
The dad-of-three appears to be an oasis of calm these days compared to his hell-raising youth.
Here, your Daily Star takes a look at some of his most infamous bust-ups.
Noel Gallagher
Probably his most famous sparring partner is his brother Noel, with whom he has a 15-year bitter feud since Oasis split up in 2009.
The pair notoriously shared spats and bust-ups throughout their time together in the band, though.
On an early US tour, Liam frequently changed the lyrics of Noel’s songs to annoy both his brother and American listeners. The pair came to blows and Noel briefly quit the band.
A year later, Liam invited an entire pub’s worth of people to the studio where the band were working, angering Noel so much that he whacked his brother with a cricket bat.
The brothers were interviewed by music mag NME but couldn’t refrain from repeatedly telling each other to “F**k off” in a memorable spat.
Liam famously pulled out of their MTV Unplugged performance in 1996 at the last minute, leaving Noel to sing all the songs, and was reportedly heckled from the stands.
Noel once punched his brother and split his lip open after Liam questioned the paternity of Noel’s child with Meg Matthews, Anais.
The final straw came for Noel in 2009 when he publicly quit the band, stating he couldn’t work with Liam for “a day longer” and branding him a “f**king knobhead”.
Robbie Williams
After Robbie left Take That in 1995, he became friends with the younger Gallagher brother. They went to Glastonbury and even played charity football together.
But things turned sour when Noel publicly branded Robbie the “fat dancer from Take That”.
Robbie jibed the band when he sold out three nights at Knebworth compared with their two.
And at the 2000 Brit Awards, Robbie called out Liam, saying: “Liam, a hundred grand of your money and a hundred grand of my money, we’ll get in the ring, we’ll have a fight and you can all watch it on TV.”
Liam later married Robbie’s ex, Nicole Appleton and bad blood still seemed to exist between the two in 2022 when Robbie said of Oasis: “They were gigantic bullies too, to the whole industry, everybody in it – and I didn’t like that.”
An entire country
On the US Tour, Liam didn’t stop at annoying his brother and made derogatory remarks about Americans in general.
When asked about the muted reception they’d received in the States, he said: “Americans want grungy people, stabbing themselves in the head on stage. They get a bright bunch like us, with deodorant on, they don’t get it.”
An entire continent
After an argument on a flight to Australia in 1998, Liam was banned for life from Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airlines, but hit back in a TV interview, saying he would “rather walk”.
During the band’s Australian tour at the time, he was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly headbutting a 19-year-old fan who claimed he was only asking him for a photo.
Criminal charges were later dropped, although a civil case was pursued that led to Liam reportedly settling out of court.
The tour ended with disgruntled fans in Brisbane and Wellington, New Zealand, complaining about the performance of the band.
Paul Gascoigne
The hell-raising frontman had a boozy fight with England legend Paul Gascoigne in 2006 at London’s Groucho Club.
After punches were thrown, Liam ended up setting off a fire extinguisher in Gazza’s face.
A source told the Star at the time: “Tempers flared and there was a couple of punches thrown. Liam then decided to cool Gazza off with the extinguisher. It ended up being quite funny.”
Gazza was at the club for an interview and Liam rocked up at the same time. The pair – who had met before – began chatting, but as the booze flowed, tempers flared.
Peter Kay
Bolton funnyman Peter was far from pleased with Liam in 2010 when he presented the BRIT awards.
The rocker threw his microphone on the floor after accepting the Best British Album Of The Past 30 Years award.
After Liam thanked everyone apart from his brother Noel, he tossed the award into the crowd, threw the mic on the floor and stormed off stage, leaving Brian May from Queen standing on his own.
An unimpressed Peter returned to the stage shaking his head and said: “What a kn**head.”
