Jeremy Clarkson ‘barely able to move’ as former Top Gear host faces fresh health battle

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he’s been left “barely able to move” due to a new health scare. The 64 year old star of Clarkson’s Farm recently underwent a “life-saving heart procedure” after doctors discovered his cholesterol levels were alarmingly high.

This led to a complete lifestyle overhaul, with Clarkson cutting out all his favourite foods and adopting a healthier regime. Writing in his column for The Sun, he described his new lifestyle as living in a “Liberal Democrat, holier-than-thou fog of weeds, seeds and yoga”.

Now, in an interview with The Telegraph, Clarkson has shared that he fears he may have a “slipped disc”. Despite this potential back injury, the former Top Gear host remains hopeful of joining the anticipated 20,000 farmers protesting against Sir Keir Starmer’s government tomorrow (Tuesday, November 19).

Over the weekend, protesters flocked to Llandudno where Starmer was delivering a speech at the Welsh Labour conference. The Prime Minister stood his ground on the Budget, declaring he’d defend it “all day long” for taking “tough decisions that were necessary to stabilise our economy,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

He stated: “I will defend facing up to the harsh light of fiscal reality, defend tough decisions that were necessary to stabilise our economy, and I will defend protecting the payslips of working people, fixing the foundations of our economy, and investing in the future of Britain and the future of Wales, finally turning the page on austerity – once and for all.”

Meanwhile, Clarkson has become a farming hero since opening Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds in 2020. His adventure from snapping up the land to making it a thriving business has been captured on Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm.
