Kate Beckinsale got fruity with her new pal Eamonn Holmes as she posed up a storm at a star-studded event.
The Underworld actress, 51, previously admitted to being a huge fan of the GB News presenter thanks to a hilarious New Year’s Eve snap. It didn’t take long before a friendship was born, with the unlikely duo remaining “social media friends” for many years.
But on Tuesday (September 17), the pair finally got to meet up in person at an A-list event. In the quirky snap, the silver fox – who has recently returned from his romantic getaway with his girlfriend – could be seen with his arm around Hollywood star.

He rocked a classic black tuxedo which he paired with a white shirt and a matching pocket square. Meanwhile, his new friend almost flashed the broadcaster in a fun black and white minidress as she kicked her leg up into a high split.

In another snap, she could be seen proudly holding up a cucumber and two strategically placed lemons as they sat down together. And it’s clear to see the veteran broadcaster matched her silliness as he stuck his tongue out in the cheeky snap.
She captioned the post: “I don’t know what to say. When you see @eamonnholmes at a party the urge to ask him to pose with suggestive veg is unprecedented for reasons even I don’t understand.
“This did not happen when I met @spingsteen so I have to conclude it’s either intrinsic to Eamonn or something to do with the approaching harvest festival.” Eamonn also shared the sweet snap online which he captioned: “After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale.”

But this isn’t the first time Kate had showed her appreciation for Eamonn, with the star also appearing in a fun snap during her New Year’s celebrations. She could be seen pretending to lick a mask of his face in the bizarre snap.
Eamonn himself reposted the image, which he captioned: “Looks like the secret is out about @katebeckinsale and me. But I can’t deny it was a great NYE Party!!!! Well at least my 2024 got off to a great start.”
It comes after the TV star arrived back in the UK on Sunday (September 15) with his girlfriend Katie Alexander after the couple spent a romantic week away together. Eamonn and the relationship counsellor weren’t shy about showing off their new romance with the pair spotted packing on the PDA during their trip.

Meanwhile, his former flame Ruth Langsford found herself in a sticky situation while he was enjoying his cruise with his new girlfriend. On Sunday, the Loose Women star took to Instagram to share her chaotic evening.
The beloved presenter was left up in arms after her broken blender spurted smoothie juice all over her sparkling clean kitchen. She raged: “It’s not my day today!” as she posted a video of her white countertop covered in green smoothie.
