Katie Price has claimed she was slapped with an £800k bill for the Mucky Mansion before being evicted.
The Pricey, 46, admitted that she was handed the mammoth bill for the Sussex home, but was unable to pay for it. As a result, she was forced to sell up and get out of the property.
However, Katie said that the cost of the bill was not her fault. Instead, she explained that a trespasser who entered the land surrounding the property caused immense damage as they were seen fly-tipping on the land.

This meant that the council were left with no other choice but to offer an ultimatum to the model and businesswoman – to either pay for the debris to be cleared or to vacate the property. However, due to being declared bankrupt for the second time earlier this year, Katie was forced to leave the mansion behind and move to another location in Sussex.
Speaking to The Sun about her new book, the reality legend explained all. “The eviction came from a guy who fly-tipped on my land and the council and the mortgage people gave me two years to clear the fly tipping,” she said.
“It would have cost me £800,000 to do it and it was a police investigation and I thought ‘do you know what, I don’t want to do it, it’s not going to add value to the house’. So it was a question of, I can either give the keys back and they can sell the house and whatever they sell it for at the market value then I get what’s left.”
She added that officers investigating the incidents had arrested and detained a suspect. It came following a series of shocking burglaries at the mansion, with Katie stating that the person has been remanded in police custody until August.
“He was selling my stuff on Facebook Marketplace,” she went on to say. “We’ve got all the evidence of everything so they’ve actually arrested him and got him in remand at the minute.”
Katie’s money woes came after she boasted about the fact she had “loads of money” during an episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show. Chatting with sister Sophie, she spoke candidly on her bankruptcy issues, admitting that she had to pay 40% of her entire income to pay off the debt.
“I’m not going to go into the bankruptcy, because I’ve sorted that out,” she insisted. “Put it this way, she’s going to be f***ing cako bako again. I still have good money, but they’re going to have to pay 40%.”
She added that due to the court ruling, her income will be garnished for nine months until the outstanding debt has been paid back. Demands for her to pay back the £761,994 tax bill were made in October last year.
