Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion has sold for a fraction of the former glamour model’s original £1.35 million purchase price – and she won’t be seeing any of the profits
Katie Price’s once cherished Mucky Mansion has finally sold, though she has flogged it off for much less than she forked out ten years back.
The reality star’s stately pad went for £1.35m but was on the market for a cool £1.5m. A previous sale had gone belly up, so she chopped £150k off the price tag quicker than you can say ‘sold’ to lure in a new punter.
Seems like Katie finally caught a break as the Rightmove confirmed with a public notice which read: “Mortgagees in possession are now in receipt of an offer for the sum of £1,150,000”, reports the Mirror.

Unfortunately for Katie, she will not be quids in if this deal gets sealed and will reportedly not profit at all from the sale. The ex-glamour model, 46, who was evicted from her luxe digs in May after being declared bankrupt for the second time in March.

The earnings from the sale will be earmarked for dousing the debt inferno Katie racked up at the Sussex estate. The star reportedly owes a whopping 750 grand in tax.
The posh nine-bedroom pad which stretches wider than a football pitch on 12 acres, became more than just a place to hang her hat. It starred on the telly alongside Price herself.
The telly series followed Katie’s mission to turn her 19-room, wrecked pad into a fab family home. Despite running for two seasons, the show got the chop as Katie’s money woes dragged on.
Katie’s former pad was a total mess when she left, with the sprawling estate turning into a jungle, the pool going swampy, and cleaners having to deal with a mountain of trash and a collection of dumped cars just to get it ready for sale. You won’t believe it, but they had to lug away over 20 tonnes of rubbish.
Fast forward to July, and wow – the mansion got a mega makeover, and you’d never know it was the same place that Katie dubbed the “Mucky Mansion” out of sheer loathing for all the bad vibes and drama it held.
Even her eldest daughter Princess Andre wasn’t a fan of the old gaff, who once said: “I didn’t really like this house at the start. It was a dark house. There were just so many bad memories in it. I didn’t even want to walk on the driveway.”
