Kim Kardashian reportedly visited killer brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez in prison.
It’s said the reality star met the convicted murderers on Saturday (September 21) at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego alongside sister Khloe and their mum Kris. It’s reported they were joined by film producer Scott Budnick and actor Cooper Koch, who plays Erik Menendez in the new Netflix series.
It’s believed the SKIMS founder spoke with a group of around 40 prisoners about her commitment to criminal justice reform. But the main subject of the conversation, according to TMZ, was Greenspace, an initiative from Lyle Menendez, to improve prison yards to promote rehabilitation.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is available to watch on Netflix as the second instalment of the Monsters series. The first, which was released in 2022, focused on American serial killer and sex offender Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Evan Peters.
For the second series, Kim’s pal Ryan Murphy has brought attention to the Menendez brothers who shot and killed both of their parents with a shotgun in August 1989 at their Beverly Hills mansion. Both were convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The siblings said that years of abuse from their father was their motive, but prosecutors accused the brothers of trying to claim the family’s $14million (£10million) fortune. The siblings were jailed after seven years and three trials.
Erik previously hit out at the Netflix series, accusing Murphy of “horrible” and “blatant lies”. In a statement posted to X by his wife Tammi, he wrote: “I believed we had moved beyond the lies and ruinous character portrayals of Lyle, creating a caricature of Lyle rooted in horrible and blatant lies rampant in the show.
“I can only believe they were done so on purpose. It is with a heavy heart that I say, I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be this naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives so as to do this without bad intent.”
“It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime have taken the painful truths several steps backward – back through time to an era when the prosecution built a narrative on a belief system that males were not sexually abused, and that males experienced rape trauma differently than women.
“Those awful lies have been disputed and exposed by countless brave victims over the last two decades who have broken through their personal shame and bravely spoken out. So now Murphy shapes his horrible narrative through vile and appalling character portrayals of Lyle and of me and disheartening slander.”
