Liam Gallagher pulls poor mum into Oasis chaos as she also ‘couldn’t get tickets’

Liam Gallagher’s mum Peggy has failed to nab a spot at the record-smashing Oasis 2025 reunion tour, according to the star.

The Stop Crying Your Heart Out hitmaker, aged 51, alongside brother Noel set tongues wagging when they revealed they’ve buried the hatchet, announcing a massive UK and Ireland comeback tour with gigs lined up in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

While fans are stumbling over themselves trying to secure tickets for the gig, many were knocked for six when it came out that Ticketmaster cranked up the price of standing tickets from a steep £148 to a wallet-busting £356 what they label as “dynamic pricing”. Amidst the ticket frenzy, Liam cheekily let slip that not even his own mother could bag tickets.

When a fan quizzed the singer how his mum Peggy felt about the much-anticipated reunion, Liam clapped back with: “She’s gutted she couldn’t get a ticket.”

Keep tabs on our Oasis reunion tour live blog for all the juicy updates on their 2025 comeback performance. Sir Keir Starmer earlier this week stomped down hard, promising to scrub out the “extortionate” dynamic ticket pricing after a barrage hit the resale spots, fetching thousands. He joined in the chorus saying it’s “great that Oasis are back together”, but slated the ludicrous ticket reselling prices as “depressing”.

Starmer has thrown his weight behind music fans, declaring: “I’m committed to putting fans at the heart of music and ending extortionate price resales, and we’re starting a consultation to work out how best we can do this.”

A whopping ten million acolytes from 158 nations were vying for tickets. With demand going through the roof, the sibling rockers have slated two additional gigs at Wembley Stadium come September next year. The Mancunian icons are gearing up to rock the stadium on September 27th and September 28th following four sell-out performances.

While most dates are snapped up, Oasis have cut a deal with Ticketmaster’s official resale platform and Twickets. There fans can snag tickets being flogged at face value or less.

The lads issued a stark warning from their X account (the artist formerly known as Twitter): “Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.”
