Liam Gallagher seen for first time since reforming Oasis and ticket sale fury

Liam Gallagher has been pictured for the first time since the Oasis reunion was confirmed.

The singer and his brother Noel Gallagher announced the band was getting back together and touring the UK. Plenty has happened since then, though, with fans left furious about hiked-up ticket prices and more dates announced.

But in new photos, Liam, 51, appeared relaxed as he took his rescue dog Buttons for a walk on a common in the southwest of England. He recently had a holiday in France.

Liam looked far from a global celebrity in his dog-walking garb. He wore a trademark long black coat, with the hood up.

He also wore black gloves, a baseball cap and well-used trainers. His adorable pooch walked by him on a short lead.

The sighting comes after one of Liam’s old tweets came back to bite him in the behind. Back in 2017, Liam took aim at Noel, who was charging $360 (£265) to see him on tour in the US.

“When will it all stop?” asked a bemused “LG”. But his message resurfaced in the wake of Oasis tickets going on sale.

With demand already sky-high, fans were left fuming when prices rose due to dynamic pricing. It meant fans were paying hundreds of pounds more for tickets than originally advertised.

Following this, Oasis announced some more tour dates – and also distanced themselves from the fiasco. They confirmed there had been discussions behind the scenes, involving their management, but not the band members.

The statement read: “As for the well reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.”

The Oasis Live ’25 Tour currently includes 19 dates including two in Cardiff, five in Manchester, seven in London, three in Edinburgh and two in Dublin.

It was previously confirmed that the tour would “not be televised”. They also confirmed they would not be playing Glastonbury 2025, after a lot of speculation.
