English actress Lily James has taken the film industry by storm in Hollywood.
The starlet first made a name for herself around the globe after starring in various movies and TV dramas. The Surrey-born beauty studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
She began her career in the British television series Just William before she went on to portray Poppy in the fourth series of ITV’s Secret Diary of a Call Girl in 2011, before landing a role that would catapult her to unimaginable fame.

It’s fair to say the role that catapulted her to unimaginable fame was taking on the role of Lady Rose Aldrige in Downton Abbey. She soon became a main character and starred in every series of the period drama that is loved globally.
In 2015, fans saw her star as Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh’s live-action Disney film, before taking on the lead role in the sequel to Mamma Mia! More recently, Lily was cast to play Pamela Anderson in the miniseries Pam & Tommy for Hulu.
