TV favourite Lorraine Kelly couldn’t contain her joy as she shared an adorable update on her daughter Rosie Smith’s pregnancy journey.
The telly veteran, who’s about to embrace the role of a grandmother, took to Instagram with a heartwarming video. The clip showed Rosie browsing through tiny outfits for her soon-to-arrive baby girl.
Rosie was seen lovingly holding her growing bump and sifting through cute baby clothes, including a snug cardigan and charming floral babygrows. Lorraine, clearly over the moon, reposted the clip from Rosie’s own page, captioning it: “This is so gorgeous – getting close now – beyond excited!”

The comments section lit up with warm wishes and excitement from Lorraine’s pals and fans alike. TV star Vanessa Feltz chimed in with a thrilled: “So excited for you all.”
Another fan joined in, saying: “How exciting.” One commenter shared their own grandparenting experience: “A Grandchild is another level of love again. I’m a Grammy too. So excited for you all.”, reports the Express.
And yet another follower expressed their happiness: “Beautiful. So exciting for you all! “.
Rosie, who’s 30, spilled the beans about her pregnancy back in April with an Instagram post flaunting her baby bump. She also wrote: “We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one.”
She also gave a glimpse of the ultrasound, captioning it: “The bean at 12 weeks the size of a fig.” Lorraine herself has been vocal about her elation, previously stating: “THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family! Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news EVER! “.
The ITV presenter confided, “We could not be more excited. You’re already so loved little one.”
This statement followed Lorraine’s poignant response to Princess Kate’s initial public appearance after her cancer diagnosis confirmation. She described the Princess of Wales as “absolutely beautiful”.
First on the agenda was Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s touching Fathers Day homage to Kate’s spouse, Prince William. Following the Royals’ Trooping the Colour spectacle at Buckingham Palace, a family photo taken by Kate herself arrived on Sunday.
In conversation with Russell Myers, Royal Editor of the Daily Mirror, the ITV presenter remarked: “Great to see Princess Catherine out and about. And looking, I have to say, absolutely beautiful. She looked well! I know she’s not well, but she did look really stunning.”
