Love Actually’s former child star Thomas Brodie-Sangster has tied the knot with St Trinian’s beauty Talulah Riley in a dreamy ceremony.
The 34-year-old actor, famed for his role as lovestruck Sam in the 2003 hit film, found love with 38-year-old Talulah on the set of the Disney+ series Pistol, where they played punk rock sweethearts. The couple got engaged in 2023 and have now made it official.
Their wedding took place at the picturesque St George’s Church in Hertfordshire, with bride Talulah dazzling in a classic white dress and Thomas cutting a dapper figure in a sharp blue tuxedo.

Talulah spilled the beans on their engagement last year via a Twitter post, flaunting her sparkling ring alongside a selfie with Thomas. Her caption read: “Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!”
Thomas echoed the sentiment on his Instagram, posting: “Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is all around X” The pair portrayed lovers in the Sex Pistols biopic on Disney+, with Talulah stepping into the shoes of iconic designer Vivienne Westwood and Thomas embodying band manager Malcolm McLaren.
However, sparks flew between them only after the cameras stopped rolling. Talulah, known for her role in Inception, previously entered marital waters with tech mogul Elon Musk, founder of Space-X.
Their on-off relationship saw them marry in 2010, divorce two years later, remarry in 2013, and part ways permanently in 2016. In a new BBC documentary, Talulah Riley revealed the details of her first momentous date with Elon Musk saying: “My first impressions were that he was very sweet, he seemed quite shy.
“He said ‘may I put my hand on your knee’ and I said, ‘OK go on then’, I thought it was quite sweet that he asked.”
Adding to the romantic tale, she recounted: “He said I don’t usually do this but I’d love to see you tomorrow can we meet for breakfast. So we had breakfast. And at the end of breakfast he said would you come and have lunch with me so we went for lunch. And then he said would you come for dinner.”
Writing about their unique third date, Ashlee Vance in his 2015 biography titled Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future, stated: “The couple had lunch the next day and then went to the White Cube, a modern art gallery, and then back to Musk’s hotel room. Musk told Riley, a virgin, that he wanted to show her his rockets.”
In response, Riley cooly remarked: “I was sceptical, but he did actually show me rocket videos. Once.” Before settling into her relationship with Thomas, Talulah had briefly dated Matthew Rice following his separation from ceramics designer Emma Bridgewater after 30 years.
A source spoke to Mail Online about the situations around both relationships revealing: “Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas..”
To better explain Mathew’s feelings, they added: “Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.”
