Love Island ‘signs up’ footballer who was best man at show legend’s wedding

Love Island bosses have reportedly signed up a hunky footballer who is friends with Olivia Attwood.

It seems having friends in high places – or at least knowing ex-islanders – can work out well if you happen to be single, hot and ready for a chance at love on television. The sportsman in question is Lewes FC defender Ronnie Vint.

The 27-year-old, who has been friends with Olivia’s hubby Bradley Dack for a number of years, has reportedly been signed up to enter the ITV2 villa. He’s also become friends with Olivia through Bradley, and was Brad’s best man at their wedding.

Ronnie now joins the growing list of rumoured names, which also includes some social media influencers. But it seems Ronnie could do well in there with the ladies.

“Ronnie is the total package and ticks every single box for Love Island bosses – he’s good-looking with a great body, has top chat and even has links to former show legends,” a source told The Sun.

“Fans are still obsessed with Olivia and now Bradley too thanks to their ITV reality spin-off Olivia Meets Her Match.

“This is an amazing way to keep those OG fans in the loop while introducing them to hot new singles.”

Vinnie won’t be the only sportsman heading in for a chance of romance, though. It was previously reported by The Sun that Welsh rugby player Ciaran Davies will be joining the Majorcan villa.

They will reportedly join Liverpool beauty Samantha Kenny, disability model Patsy Field and another model, Grace Jackson. With just over a week to go until the series kicks off, ITV2 bosses still have some time to find a few with less glamorous jobs…

The new series will kick off on Monday, June 3 at 9pm. Maya Jama returns again as host, and the beauty was seen in a red-hot dress to launch the show on social media.
