Love Island star is terrified of ‘mouth spitting’ as she shares biggest icks

Upcoming Love Island star Mimii Ngulube is nervous about one thing in the Majorcan villa – a racy spitting challenge.

The mental health nurse, 24, knows exactly what she’s looking for in a guy, and she also knows what will immediately turn her off. The Portsmouth-born beauty confessed during a chat with Daily Star and other press: “I think I really like a guy who is confident in his abilities and will come and sweet talk me. I like a sweet talker – it’s bad, because they aren’t always the best, but they make me giggle.

“An ick would be someone who just follows a crowd, doesn’t think for himself and just tags along. I want someone who’s gonna make decisions for me, like where we’re going to eat. I don’t wanna be making those types of decisions! So someone who’s like that would be… hmmm.”

Asked what she’s most excited for when heading into the villa, Mimii had a surprising answer – going tech-free for potentially months at a time while living it up in the sun. She explained: “I’m most excited for living without a phone. Literally getting to know people at face value – no phone, no internet.

“As of now… the first day when they took my phone I was a bit like, ‘oh!’, I kept going in my pocket to check for it, but now I’ve even forgot I have a phone so that’s going to be fun and interesting.”

But there’s something playing on her mind as well, as Mimii said: “I’m kind of nervous about some of the challenges. The spitting in people’s mouth challenge, that one is a bit… yeah. We’ll see how it goes.”

Mimii has tried everything looking for love, admitting: “I’ve tried dating, speaking to people on social media, and it just hasn’t been successful. Applying was a spontaneous thing, I didn’t expect to get here!”

She added: “[I’ll be] bringing honesty [to the villa], as well – I’m good at picking up on people’s personality traits and side-eyeing those who might be a liar.” Mimii is a girls’ girl through and through, explaining: “My girls are my rocks and I’m theirs so I’ll be a good friend as well as going in there to find a man.”
