Love Island viewers issue plea as two more islanders brutally dumped

On Sunday night, ITV viewers tuned in to watch host Maya Jama enter the Love Island villa with a surprise for the islanders. The 29-year-old revealed that the public had been voting for their favourite couple, meaning those with the fewest votes were at risk of being dumped.

With the latest bombshells Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi being told they were exempt, the couples were asked to line up in front of the fire pit. In the end, it was Ronnie and Tiffany, Jess and Omar, Joey and Grace and Uma and Wil who stood a chance at being sent home.

It was then down to the safe Islanders to pick one boy and one girl to send packing. Sadly, they decided it was time for Omar and Tiffany to leave the show.

However, it seems as though fans of the reality dating show aren’t impressed with the twists and turns so far, with many demanding the highly anticipated Casa Amor be brought forward.

Share their thoughts, @tiffsoirie said: “I need Casa Amor to be soon cos I want this villa shaken up #loveIsland,” while @paloozaaaa added: “This season is so dry, so bland. I leave every episode being like …ok? where are the challenges? the friendships? the deceit? CASA AMOR? like at this rate send everyone home I beg #LoveIsland.”

@loveislandcomm demanded: “We need a new twist! I do like Casa Amor but what else can we do?! I need something new. Get to work people #loveIsland.”

@itschloe_may tweeted: “Maya just said “If it comes around this time” [sic] Are we having casa amor or not?”

Sharing some images of the dumped islanders so far, @LiyahCrys reeled: “So in the span of 3 weeks we lost them?? Either bring on Casa Amor now or end the season. #loveIsland.”

@John02704703 shared: “Casa amor come early please we need something fresh in this Villa #loveisland.”

Speaking about their time in the villa, Omar admitted he was “gutted” to be leaving and detailed his thoughts about bombshell Matilda.

Touching on the connection they both had when she entered the villa, he said: “From as soon as Matilda entered the Villa I saw her as an attractive person.

“In my eyes, we connected straight from the start. I know I gave it my best shot in terms of trying to get to know her and who knows, if I stayed in the Villa it could have developed further.”

Although his time in the villa has been cut short, the 25-year-old shared it was a great experience and was grateful for the opportunity.

Love Island returns at 9pm tomorrow on ITV2 and ITVX.
