Love Island’s Jess White has lifted the lid on her feud with Harriett Blackmore.
The TV star was given the boot during a quadruple dumping alongside her love interest Hugo Godgro, as well as Blade Siddiqi and Emma Milton. The star opened up about her friendships in the villa and some of her feuds.
Jess said: “I’m a people’s person, that’s my job, so I knew I’d get on with everybody. This journey has taught me to never underestimate how important friendships are.

“I was so close with both the girls and boys in the villa and I love them all individually. I’m a tough cookie and rarely cry but everytime one of my girls left I was always in tears.
“The relationships you form are so special, I’m so proud of everyone and think we will all be friends for life. I was like everyone’s big sister but Samantha, Nicole and Uma were so lovely and people I hope to have in my life for a very long time.
“Nicole for the win, she’s my little sister and best friend. I only have nice things to say about everyone, even Harriett was lovely although we didn’t see eye to eye on the odd occasion.”
She also revealed how she felt to be leaving the ITV show and claimed it was “bittersweet”. Jess added: “It’s a bittersweet moment, I always said if I made it past week one I’d be proud of myself, so to make it to week 5 is amazing. It was nothing like I expected, it was everything and more. Everyone has been beyond lovely from the amazing Islanders I was with in the Villa to the production team and crew, everyone has just made my experience even more than I ever imagined it to be.”
The TV star also commented on Hugo’s recent change of mind on their romance, after he showed doubts during a conversation with Ayo. Jess said: “It’s very early days but from the moment I saw him I knew he was exactly what I’d been waiting for. I’m one of those people who knows what I want from the offset, I’m very honest, maybe sometimes too honest which is why I didn’t want to force things with the other boys, but patience paid off and I’m glad I met Hugo.
“It took me a long time to find a connection but I’m so glad I did. I’m looking forward to us continuing things on the outside and he did say he likes Manchester so you never know. It’s exciting times ahead for us, we aren’t putting pressure on it, but I’m looking forward to carrying on what we had in the Villa.”
