Married at First Sight UK’s Jay Howard has addressed her relationship status after splitting from Luke Worley.
The fan favourite couple were dramatically booted off the E4 show after Luke got into an altercation with co-star Jordan Gayle on camera. The fallout led to Luke being removed from the experiment by show experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling.
Luke being axed meant that Jay was also forced to leave the show early. They managed to make their relationship work away from the cameras but they’d split before the reunion show was filmed.

While Luke has reportedly move on, Jay has revealed she’s single and ready to start dating again. She told Daily Star and other press: “I’m very open for dating so if anybody wants to get in touch I’m more than happy to oblige. I’m ready to meet somebody now, ready to settle down and have a family. I’m in my 30s so it would be nice to meet someone that it’s going to last and to create a future with them. At the moment, I’m happy to go with the flow, date away until I find that special someone.
Sharing her thoughts on her sudden axe from the 2023 series, Jay said: “Looking back on reflection it was the best thing to do at the time. I do understand why they had to make us leave. If it was up to me, I would have made sure that wouldn’t have happened and we could have gone through the experiment together fully rather than our time being cut short.
“We could have worked on our relationship a little bit more compared to how it ended but looking back now I knew Luke wasn’t right for me and I wasn’t necessarily right for him. Watching it back, because you are so in a bubble and so fully invested in each other and that’s your life for a couple of months, sometimes relationships don’t always work out and that’s fine. The experiment does work but depending on how much you are willing to put in and how much effort you are willing to put yourself forward.”
Jay went on to share some advice and words of wisdom to anyone thinking of signing up for MAFS. She said: “The advice I would give is be yourself, be vulnerable or it’s not going to work and challenge yourself. Also, be open minded and take everything in your stride and listen to what the experts say and take on board and take on board the advice you were given.”
